Sexism is not sex. While repetatively sexual advances towards a single person or group against their wishes may constitute sexual harassment upon an unwilling party, in general, voicing sexual ideas and needs should be more readily acceptable. Being openly sexual should not be taboo. That said, sex makes some people uncomfortable, but these same people probably get less play than anyone. It is more just to voice your desires and stay aware of your audience’s interest level. Also be aware that in most cases, there is something more important to be doing than thinking about, talking about, or having sex.
