The Nuclear Option
Thinking about getting rid of the blatant spam comments in my post comments. This would require a plugin that maps possible regular expression synonmys of the comments that have already been posted, and test them against a database of creatively selected revisionings. The risk? Outdesigning a spammer to make them obsolete. The reward? Nothing. Nothing from all.
Update 11-16-2015: Installed a catchpa. No more WordPress spam, thankfully. Sadly, I realized I have no real English-Keyboard readers.
Update Summer 2016: All comments nuked. Let’s try it again, now, with less spam, k, internet?
