The Myth of Innateness

Eye of The Tiger

Some people believe in inherited instinct. In other words, if a parent knows something, then their child will, too. This flies in the face of reason and is a slight against the true operation of the human psyche.

A person gains skills and abilities through hard labor and learning. There is nothing that makes any one person any more special than any other person, innately.

Upon giving birth, it is the parent’s selfless and nurturing actions that impart strength to their children.

Upon gaining adulthood, it is this same nurturing activity that leads to growth in our peers.

Nothing is inborn. Life is a constant struggle to achieve and make improvements for the survivability of everyone.

You can’t get by with just heritage and breeding. Education and training is indispensable.
